If you want to reach better results, then you have to set daily goals. Goals bring out the best in us. So set your financial goals yearly, monthly and weekly.
It all begins with an intention, an ardent desire. It’s not important yet to have a strategy for reaching the goal. What’s more important is that you fervently believe that you will achieve it (your mind-set).
My story
In Buddhism setting goals is very important. How do we know something worked for us? By setting goals and achieving them!
Buddhism teaches me that I write and perform the script for my own life. I write it and I am the actor who plays it. I am the author and the hero. But to perform my play well, it is important to pound the script into my head so thoroughly that I can see it vividly before my eyes.
You may need to rehearse in your mind. Sometimes it helps to write down your goals, copying them over and over until they are inscribed in your heart!
I set financial goals to challenge myself. For me it is crucial to have a concrete purpose and continually set goals and challenges for myself. So, I keep moving towards specific targets steadily and tenaciously, one step at a time.
I set financial goals every month and I am amazed of the results every time. I set financial goals for monthly expenses, for a vacation or a big investment. When I have to make a decision, I ask myself if that decision helps to achieve my goal. If not, I don’t do it.
Go for it!
Now it’s time for ACTION, ACTION and even more ACTION. This is the pathway to realisation. Not sitting still but getting into action and really going for it!
Get going on your financial goals without hesitation. Set a high financial goal for a certain month. Look at it every day and believe that you will reach this goal. For every action that you take, ask yourself whether it brings you closer to your goal. If it doesn’t, then change the action. You will be amazed at the results you will get. You will see that all sorts of opportunities will emerge, which take you closer to your goal.
What’s your story?
Now it’s your turn. Write down your goals as specifically as possible. What’s the first step you are going to take to reach that goal? Share it with me in the comments. And do it!
Are you ready for real change?
You can create your own success by focussing on the right things. But sometimes we need help, a friendly push in order to take the next step. That friendly push is what my action plan provides: the BIZZ Road Map, based on practical Buddhist principles. The action plan that I use myself and which made me aware that I can work differently: smarter. You can find the BIZZ Road Map in my free ebook ‘Rethink your business’. Download it here:
